Bill O’Reilly loses job offer at One America News Network

On Tuesday, One America News Network announced that its standing offer to Bill O’Reilly for a job at the network no longer stands.

“We are pulling offer to @billoreilly, it could have paid him more than he made at Fox,” OAN CEO Robert Herring announced on Twitter, adding, “We wish him luck.”

Herring told Mediaite that the offer had been pulled because O’Reilly and his agent had taken too long to come to a decision after they had discussed possibilities of a talk show for O’Reilly with the network.

OAN, a conservative network that saw Tomi Lahren as one of its first stars, has also tried to steal Sean Hannity from Fox News in order to grow its brand. The San Diego-based network is available in about 15 million homes as of 2016.

O’Reilly was ousted from Fox News after he was hit with a wave of sexual harassment allegations as well as abuse and racial discrimination claims made against him. After a report that he had settled for more than $13 million with five women who had brought suits against him, he was removed from Fox News in April. Now, it seems even OAN won’t have him around.
