After police surrounded an R&B singer’s home last week, he is going on record to call it a setup. Chris Brown and his attorney Mark Geragos spoke out about the police standoff outside the star’s home Aug. 30. Ex-beauty pageant queen Baylee Curran thrust herself into headlines after accusing Brown of pointing a gun at her in his California home early that morning.

The “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer released a video to ABC News maintaining he is innocent.

“I cannot wait till the truth comes to light about this incident and this situation,” Brown said in the video. “You know, because my character’s been defaced and who I am as a person and my integrity.”

Authorities stood outside Brown’s home for hours looking to obtain a search warrant to enter the residence. Police later arrested the singer on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon Aug. 30. He ultimately posted $250,000 bond.

“I’m glad that all my real supporters know me, and know the truth and see the truth,” he continued.

Curran gave several interviews to outlets maintaining the veracity of her story. She claimed Brown “pulled out a gun and said, ‘Get the f— out’ ” after she admired jewelry at a gathering at his house.

But Brown’s attorney said those claims are false.

“There was a search that was done. They went in, and said they had a description of the piece of jewelry,” Geragos told ABC. “Not found in the house. They went in, a gun, not found in the house.”

Additionally, investigators reviewed surveillance footage in the performer’s home.

“There’s no Chris Brown waving a gun. No Baylee looking at a box of jewelry,” Geragos explained of the security findings.

On top of the lack of video evidence, the veteran lawyer revealed a text message Curran sent before neighbors called cops that morning.

“This freak Chris Brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend’s jewelry fake,” the text read. “I’m going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson. I’m going to set his A– up.”

Curran’s representatives question the authenticity of the message and stated she gave the phone to authorities.
