Eric Trump: Russia controversy is a ‘total hoax’

In an interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters on Saturday night, Eric Trump called the Russia investigation a “total hoax.”

Watters asked what Eric what he was going to do in order to counter the talk about the president’s administration being in collusion with Russia and Eric, like his father, considers the whole probe a “witch hunt.”

He also seemed to say that his father’s air strike against Syria proves he isn’t in bed with the Russians because everyone knows Syria is, and if Trump was on Russia’s side those strikes never would have happened.

Eric told Watters that he feels there are a lot of people who just “want to further a narrative for their own political agenda. And I really believe that they would rather see this country fail than see him succeed.”

When Watters asked him directly if the Russia investigation was a hoax, Eric answered, “It’s a total hoax.”
