Hecklers Yell Profanities and Toss Drink On Tomi Lahren During Hip-Hop Brunch

A drink tossed on Tomi Lahren caused the conservative commentator’s mother to erupt on restaurant goers and while she didn’t respond in the immediate aftermath, Lahren now has something to say.

Devan Madison told The Blast he attended a hip-hop-themed brunch at Minneapolis’ Union Restaurant Saturday, May 19,  with a group of friends where Lahren was “extremely rude and had a big attitude,” according to Madison’s friend who served the former The Blaze host and her mother.

When Lahren headed out, someone at Madison’s table threw a drink on her and, the witness claims, “literally the entire restaurant started cheering.”

Jeremy Jackson, the security personnel seen speaking to Lahren in the clip, said the Fox News contributor saw the brunch group “scowling at her” as she left.

“Just another day in the life” she allegedly said when she passed them by. Apparently, a drink was hurled her way next.

“F— that b—-!” attendees can be heard saying in the clip. “Racist ass b—! … Get your racist ass outta here, b—-!”

Lahren’s mother, Trudy, confronted the group and tried to grab the empty glass from the thrower’s hand. However, the woman avoided Trudy’s attempts and kept shouting, “F— Tomi!”

When Jackson says he stepped in to stop the argument, he told Lahren he’d like to separate the parties.

“‘You’re just going to kick me out for them throwing water? Unbelievable,’” he recalled her saying.

He then tried explaining she wasn’t being kicked out but separated from the other group so he could do his job. Yet Lahren apparently stormed out of the restaurant while Jackson escorted the perpetrator out eatery.

While Tomi didn’t retaliate, the host addressed the incident on “Fox & Friends” Wednesday, May 23.

“Unfortunately, there was a group of people probably around my age that thought it would be funny to throw water at me and start chanting profanity,” Lahren explains, noting she was at brunch with her parents following a show the night before. “Not something that I’m not used to but really disheartening.”

“This was something that was embarrassing for me and embarrassing for my family,” she continues. “At the end of the day, I’m a person too. And I do get humiliated and embarrassed just like anyone else. But I’m tough, my family’s tough. We can handle it. I think that those that threw the water and that were applauding and laughing about it, wanted to get their 15 minutes of fame by making a video of me. I think looking back, those are the people that are gonna be embarrassed by their actions.”

“You don’t have to like me, you don’t have to agree with my political opinions, but you don’t have the right to throw things at me,” she adds.
