Social media lit up with excitement when “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star Alfonzo Ribeiro posted a picture of the cast reuniting, but Janet Hubert wasn’t celebrating.

The original Aunt Vivian on the hit 1990s Will Smith-led sitcom shared her apparent aversion for the cast on her Facebook page Tuesday, March 28, seeming to be annoyed at the attention that Ribeiro’s photo has been attracting.

“I know the media hoe Alphonso [sic] Ribero has posted his so-called reunion photo,” Hubert said, sharing a clip of Aunt Viv asking Karyn Parsons’ Hilary Banks why she wants to join an organization. “Folks keep telling me about it. He was always the ass wipe for Will. There will never be a true reunion of the ‘Fresh Prince.’ I have no interest in seeing any of these people on that kind of level.”

According to Hubert, the cast photo was snapped at a Monday, March 27, event for Parsons’ charity. Stars Tatyana Ali, Ribeiro, Parsons, Smith, Daphne Reid and Joseph Marcell, who played the family’s butler Geoffrey, were present. Aside from Hubert, James Avery, who played Aunt Viv’s husband, Uncle Phil, also was missing from the picture as he died in 2013 of complications from open heart surgery. Hubert said in the comments section that she and Avery “were good,” but the same apparently can’t be said of other former cast mates.

Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince family. Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete.

That Hubert doesn’t want to participate in a reunion of the NBC sitcom that ran from 1990 to 1996 isn’t surprising given her history with Smith. Hubert famously was replaced by Reid in 1993 after she said Smith refused to stand by her in salary negotiations. Three years ago, a glimmer of hope to bury the hatchet emerged.

“We need to have a reunion, we have to end this horrible, 21-year war,” she told Omg! Insider in 2013. “I think we all owe each other an apology.”

Today, Hubert is standing firm in her dislike for Smith and vows to tell her story onscreen by pitching a story based on her 2009 memoir, “Perfection Is Not a Sitcom Mom” to Hollywood executives.
