Juan Williams is Completely Isolated by Entire Fox News Panel for Calling Out Racist Past of Trump’s AG Pick

On the Nov. 18 edition of FOX News‘ “The Five,” President-elect Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Kellyanne Conway and co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle sparred with Juan Williams about Sen. Jeff Sessions’ past racial incidents.

Last week, the news cycle was dominated by reports claiming that Trump will tap Sessions as his choice for Attorney General. However, many pundits have noted that Sessions’ previous transgressions could lose him the Senate confirmation.

Sessions allegedly called the NAACP, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and other groups advocating for Black rights “un-American.” He also condemned the Ku Klux Klan for smoking marijuana but not for having white supremacist ideals.

In last Friday’s broadcast, Williams tries to point that out as the co-hosts repeatedly talk over him.

“What we can anticipate … is a lot of criticism about the selection of Jeff Sessions,” Williams starts off. “He was the first federal judge appointed by [President] Ronald Reagan that was rejected by the Senate. … ” Then, Conway interjects, stating that was “30-some years ago.”

But Williams fires back at her, insisting that people are far more racially sensitive today than they were then.

At the 40-second mark of the clip, Conway starts to rant about Trump and her belief that the American people are not willingly accepting him. “Name five people not named Clinton, Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, [President] Barack Obama or Michelle Obama that the Democrats would accept right now,” she says.

Meanwhile, Guilfoyle says that there is no proof that Sessions is a racist: “He has a very substantial civil rights record.”
