The likely last LeBron James-led NBA free agency started with a bang: James said farewell to the Cleveland Cavaliers — he’s headed west to join the Lakers. Magic Johnson keeps his job, the iconic banner in Cleveland came down and James’ son LeBron Jr. is likely headed to Sierra Canyon High School to play with Scottie Pippen Jr. and Kenyon Martin Jr. Los Angeles also added JaVale McGee, Lance Stephenson and Rajon Rondo. But in the biggest basketball power move of the summer so far, DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins, who’s still rehabbing a torn Achilles tendon, signed with the two-time reigning champion Golden State Warriors. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Cousins — when healthy, that’s a starting lineup of five All-Stars. The rich got richer out in the Bay Area. Should we cancel next season and give the Warriors the 2019 title right now?
