Yep: Rihanna is a true fashion force, and perhaps Snoop is inspired by her success. In other rap royalty news, Missy Elliott released an “I’m Better” remix featuring Eve, Lil Kim and Trina; and C.J. Wallace, the son of Biggie and Faith Evans, has a new film out called Kicks. Colin Kaepernick is going to the Smithsonian Institution, Brehanna Daniels is taking her automotive talents to NASCAR, and everyone is talking about Kadir Nelson’s beautiful cover for the new Miles Morales Spider-Man novel. Yes, please, to more diversity on the visual side of journalism (and on The Bachelorette) — and no thank you to predatory leasing practices. In light of recent terrifying events, we implore you, once again, to be kind to one another. And rest in peace, Hall of Famer Cortez Kennedy, gone too soon at the age of 48.
