Turning 30 is a milestone for most any woman but when you’re Rihanna, it can signal some pretty huge life shifts.

The singer spoke to Vogue for it’s June issue and dished about the developments that have happened since the big 3-0 — and finally gave a tiny bit of insight into her rumored relationship with Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel.

Pictures of the pair getting cozy in a pool and sipping champagne made the rounds last summer and a source told The Sun “this relationship is the real deal.”

“Rihanna has told friends she’s in love with him and seems completely smitten,” the source said in June 2017. “They’ve been spending a lot of time together away from prying eyes and are really serious. They’re really enjoying each other’s company.”

Not much other news has leaked about the duo, who were last spotted together at a Grammys afterparty in January. And Rihanna isn’t saying much about her partner, whom she’s hesitant to discuss by name. But she admits this relationship is is not like love she’s experienced in the past.

“I used to feel guilty about taking personal time,” she tells the fashion magazine of making time for a man, “but I also think I never met someone who was worth it before.”

The singer, who was previously linked to Drake and Leonardo DiCaprio, used to focus more on her work than her personal life, but now she’s willing to put down the phone and soak up time with those around her.

“Even mentally, just to be away from my phone, to be in the moment, that has been key for my growth,” Rihanna said. “Now, when I come to work, I’m all in. Because before you know it, the years will go by. I’m glad I’m taking the time. I’m happy.”

Part of her happiness, as evidenced by her Instagram posts of her with her three-year-old niece Majesty, is babies. The singer knows she’s “not gonna be able to take my eyes off my kid” someday and is even wondering how she should prepare for motherhood in her third decade of life.

“OK, so now that I’m 30, are there things I’m supposed to do?” she wonders. “Should I be worried? Should I be freezing my eggs? What do you do at 30?!”

Still, years of life in the spotlight wasn’t without difficulties. Having shot to superstardom as a teenager, the performer has seen her body being picked at as her weight fluctuated. While she typically has snappy comebacks, Rih typically chooses to laugh things off.

“You’ve just got to laugh at yourself, honestly,” she said. “I mean, I know when I’m having a fat day and when I’ve lost weight. I accept all of the bodies. I’m not built like a Victoria’s Secret girl, and I still feel very beautiful and confident in my lingerie.”
