Rihanna snaps over Chris Brown questions during Esquire interview

Rihanna has moved on since the incident between her and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, three years ago.

So when a reporter during a recent Esquire magazine interview brought up her tumultuous romance with Brown, she snapped.

Things got heated when the reporter repeatedly asked the Bajan beauty why she collaborated with Brown on her ‘Birthday Cake’ remix. Rihanna acknowledged that she thought people would be surprised that she did another record with Brown, but did not see how it could be a bad thing. “In my mind, it was just  music,” she said.

The reporter pressed on, telling Rihanna she is making it difficult to separate the person who’s been the victim of domestic violence from someone just singing about domestic violence. Rihanna then let it be known that she feels people need to move on.

I know. And that’s how f—ed up society is. There’s a lot of sh-t y’all can’t get over. Y’all holding your breath on a lot of stuff that doesn’t matter. When you realize who you live for, and who’s important to please, a lot of people will actually start living. I am never going to get caught up in that. I’m gonna look back on my life and say that I enjoyed it – and I lived it for me – and God. This is turning into a tacky interview. What do you really want to talk about? I’m not here to [talk] about messy, sh-ty mess.

This isn’t Rihanna’s first time giving the press a piece of her mind. Back in March, the diva snapped at a reporter who asked a question about who she was dating, during a press conference for her new film Battleship.
