New York City Honors Lil Kim with Proclamation: As part of African-American Music Appreciation month, the Queen of Rap, Lil Kim, was honored by New York City’s Council for her contributions to the hip-hop music industry. The 12th Council of New York also awarded the rapper with the “District Arts and Music Award” and the city’s “Power Of Influence Award.”

Donald Trump Claps Back at Robert DeNiro: After De Niro took jabs at Trump during Sunday night’s Tony Awards, the president blasted the actor when he returned from the summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. The running back filed the lawsuit against the team in 2016.

U.S. Judge Rules In Favor of AT&T Merger: A federal judge approved AT&T’s $85 billion acquisition of Time Warner, the parent company of CNN. The courts ruled that the deal does not violate antitrust law. The case first began in 2016, WSJ reported.

Dancing FBI Agent Arrested: Chase Bishop, 29, was detained after accidentally shooting someone while dancing at Mile High Spirits bar in Denver when his gun fell from his waist. The FBI agent is being held by the Denver Police Department for a second-degree assault investigation, according to CNN, and is awaiting charges.
