Trump advisor proudly compares himself to Dick Cheney and Satan

As if there wasn’t enough reason to be worried about Steve Bannon’s appointment to the Donald Trump presidential candidate, the chief strategist for the president-elect has now compared himself to the likes of Dick Cheney and even, yes, Satan.

“Darkness is good,” Bannon told The Hollywood Reporter of being hated by liberals. “Dick Cheney. Darth Vader. Satan. That’s power.”

“I’m not a white nationalist, I’m a nationalist. I’m an economic nationalist,” he said during the interview, which was published on Friday. “The globalists gutted the American working class and created a middle class in Asia. The issue now is about Americans looking to not get f*cked over.”

— Over 700 ‘hateful harassment’ attacks reported since Trump’s election win —

Bannon then went on to describe the economic plans of the upcoming administration, touting a “trillion-dollar infrastructure plan” that would “rebuild everything. Ship yards, iron works, get them all jacked up.”

In the same interview, Bannon said that he was not a racist and that his political views were based on economics and not on racial politics, thus his focus on the economic goals of the Trump administration.

Bannon also referred to Trump as “the greatest orator since William Jennings Bryan,” and praised his “economic populist” message for resonating with the people.
