Undefeated football plays of the week: Week 7 See the dope highlights you might have missed

What a week in football! This week is highlighted by some of the best catches that you will ever see on the field. Don’t believe me? Come see what you missed on the gridiron this weekend!

Monday Night Football

Not much occurred during this week’s Monday Night Football game, but the defense made plays as usual. Check it out!

This was a pretty dull game, but what a play by safety Darian Stewart to showcase Denver’s defensive dominance.

Saturday

James Gardner rakes it in!

Down seven early in the first quarter of its game against Bowling Green State University, Miami (Ohio) University needed to even up the score. All the RedHawks needed to do was get the ball into James Gardner’s catch radius, and he did the rest.

Look at the body control … the leg extension … the athleticism.

Now, while he didn’t score on that play, the team did a couple of plays later.

Gardner finished with nine catches for 120 yards and the RedHawks defeated Bowling Green, 40-26.

Durante did what?

West Virginia University’s Jovon Durante had three catches for 40 yards. One of those catches stood out from the other two.

Buddy caught that like he had the pennant codes from EA Sports’ 2005 NCAA Football video game. (Yes, the one with Larry Fitzgerald on the cover.)

West Virginia went on to beat Texas Christian, 34-10.

Leonard Fournette brings the hammer

Have you ever played a football video game? Have you ever used the truck stick and made the virtual defender wish he’d never put on a helmet and pads?

Well, Louisiana State University’s Leonard Fournette did on Saturday. Man, he made that guy look like a crash-test dummy.

Fournette bulldozes Ole Miss defender

Fournette burned the University of Mississippi for 284 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 carries. Beast.

Louisiana State got the win, 38-21.

Sunday

The A.J. Green Machine

With seven seconds left in the first half, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton decided to throw up a prayer to the end zone to whomever was available.

A.J. Green had the answers.

One of the best wide receivers in the league came through for Cinncinati yet again.

The Bengals went on to beat the Cleveland Browns, 31-17.

Landon Collins to the house!

The New York Giants were trailing the Los Angeles Rams, 10-3, until a deflection changed the course of the game. The ball touched Collins’ hands and he was gone.

That was just one of Collins’ two interceptions in the game. The Giants went on to win, 17-10.

Stafford seals the win

With 22 seconds left, Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions were down by four points and needed a touchdown. No pressure, right?

Right.

Game. Lions.
