Watch Lil Wayne Explain Why He Thinks Racism is Over

On the Sept. 13 edition of FOX Sports One’s “Undisputed,” rapper Lil Wayne reveals he has never experienced racism in his life.

In the clip, the award-winning rapper says that he has stayed clear of the Black Lives Matter movement and Colin Kaepernick’s national anthem protest.

“They wouldn’t want my answer to that,” he starts. “… God knows that I have been nothing but blessed … I’ve never dealt with racism. I thought [racism] was over, I still believe it’s over. But, obviously it isn’t … ”

Wayne adds that his children are the only thing that matters to him. Protesting, the flag, the country are secondary to taking care of his children, he says.

Then, commentator Skip Bayless asks him if racism is over because white people like rap and show up to his concerts.

“I thought that was clearly a message there was no such thing as racism. That was a perfect example… When I open my eyes and I see everybody …”
