Giving Back to the Next Generation of Women in Business

I just wrapped up my 2nd annual Launch Your Business LIVE 3-Day Boot Camp in Atlanta! To be honest, I’m still processing the magnitude of the transformation that our Happy Black Woman community experienced this weekend.

It’s hard to pick my favorite moment over the course of 3 amazing days, but at the top of my list is what we were able to do together to give back to the next generation of women in business.

I’m proud to announce that we were able to raise over $5,000 for the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta! This morning, I had breakfast with the staff of the organization to deliver all the donations and they were blown away by the power of our collective philanthropy.

The proceeds will go toward the Girl Scout Cookie Program, which helps Girl Scouts learn the entrepreneurial skills that are essential to success in life, like financial literacy, innovation and more through her cookie business.

THANK YOU to all the ladies who stepped up and joined me in my personal goal to support so many of the girls who are looking up to us as we create our own successful businesses doing what we love! What a beautiful way to walk our talk and be in alignment with how we want to show up in the world.

There’s so much more I need to tell you about the event and I promise to report back after I get a bit more rest.

But for now, I just wanted to share what one of our attendees posted on our Facebook after the event:

“Thank you Rosetta for an empowering weekend that has changed my life forever! I feel I am a GIRL ON FIRE for the first time in the 50 years of my life!! Words can’t express the way I’m feeling at this moment! CHEERS!” – Cathy Williams

More soon…
