Why do we need healthy relationships?

All too often, we overlook the value of healthy relationships in our lives and the impact they can make. Cynthia shares how healthy relationships improve our quality of life and how easy it is to get derailed by unhealthy ones. She delves into her belief that in order to have a better life, you have to have better relationships. Cynthia goes on to share some action steps that can easily be implemented to make a real impact in your own life. She explains why it’s our relationship with ourselves that is the foundation for all other relationships. Without self-love, it’s impossible to build a healthy relationship with anyone else.

Healthy boundaries are the foundation of self-love.

Cynthia shares a challenge Christian women face when trying to build healthy relationships: setting boundaries. There is the belief, says Cynthia, that saying “no” isn’t the “Christian thing to do”. According to Cynthia, this couldn’t be more wrong. She discusses the value of setting boundaries and why it’s important to your own well-being and your ability to practice self-love. It’s okay to say no, even though it may take some time to get used to it. Cynthia goes on to share some insight into the strategies she uses day-to-day to keep focused and on track.
