What I Want to Remember About the First 6 Months of 2017

Happy July!

It’s a holiday week here in the U.S., with everyone celebrating the 4th of July. I don’t really celebrate most holidays, but I’m definitely dialed in to the theme of “freedom” right now because today, I embark on a month-long trip to Europe!

The last time I spent a whole month in Europe was back in 2012 on the trip that changed my life and showed me what was possible with a location-independent business. This time around, I’ll be in France, Spain, England and maybe Germany!

Freedom is indeed one of my highest values, which is why I’ve spent the last 7 years creating a life that allows me to do what I want, when I want. And what I love about traveling is that it always expands my consciousness and contributes to my personal growth like nothing else I’ve ever done.

Along with my own freedom, I’m celebrating all my progress for the year so far and I encourage you to do the same!

This is what I want to remember about the first 6 months of 2017:

5 events. Tampa, New York, New Orleans, Honolulu, Oakland.

Hundreds of women. Amazing team members.

Sharing what I know. Building community. Holding space.

Supporting organizations I believe in.

California road trips.

Beach days.

Moments with my favorite people.

Sister time.

Date nights. Good movies. Live music.

Soulful mornings filled with light.

Doing the work to rise into my highest self.

Getting better at being me.

And so grateful for it ALL.

What do YOU want to remember about the first half of 2017? What do you want to celebrate? What are you proud of yourself for?

P.S. I’d love to connect with you over in our Happy Black Woman Facebook Tribe here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/happyblackwoman
